Meeting together for a consultation session is the best way to determine whether my approach is a good match for you. If at the completion of the 45-50 minute consultation we agree to proceed, we will discuss specific arrangements and schedule appointments. If we decide not to proceed beyond consultation, I will offer you referrals to other psychotherapists.
Payment and Insurance
I accept payment by check, cash or major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
As a fully licensed clinician, most people I work with receive some reimbursement from their insurance company. I do not participate as a “provider” for any insurance company. As a result, your carrier will classify me as “out of network”. I will send you a monthly statement that will contain the necessary information so that you can be reimbursed directly by your insurance company in accordance to the parameters of your plan. My patients pay me directly. If your insurance requires intermittent reports I will discuss those requests with you and share no information with them, or anyone else, without your written permission.
Cancellation and rescheduling of appointments will be discussed during consultation.
Due to Covid 19, my practice is completely virtual at this time.
Because electronic communication via e-mail, text or fax is neither secure nor confidential, I do not communicate electronically.
To inquire about a consultation appointment please call my office: 512.574.6777 and I will respond to your voice mail message as soon as possible.
Telephone/voicemail communication does not by itself create a patient-therapist relationship or constitute the provision or receipt of psychotherapy, consultation, or supervision.
